Just saw on Disboards...
...that the spring discounts are going to be announced on Oct 8th. Lets see if thats true. They said it will be Jan 5-April 21 with some obvious block dates for school breaks. They said it will be the same as last year for RO and S/P/D. It stinks cause I'm not going till May lol but hopefully they just extend it like they did last year.

Yes just call and they apply the discount but everything is based on availability.
And actually Disney visa cardholders can start taking advantage of the discounts now. They are as outlined:
Room Only
Save up to 35% at select Walt Disney World resorts!
Valid for stays most nights 1/5/14-3/5/14 and 3/14/14-4/12/14.
Disney Visa cardholders can save when booking a Room Only reservation at select Walt Disney World hotels. Discount is valid for travel between 1/5/14-3/5/14 and 3/14/14-4/12/14.
Savings Includes:
Save up to 20%
Select Value Resorts
Save up to 25%
Select Moderate Resorts
Save up to 35%
Select Deluxe Resorts
This discount must be booked by 12/31/13. A Disney Visa must be used for the reservation. All discounts are subject to availability, certain restrictions apply.

I was looking at rates for mid President's week, and with the room only discount, they are astronomical! I think Disney has priced us out of staying on site this time around!

I was thinking the same thing. I went to price out a weekend to surprise the girls but the one that got really surprised was me. Those prices have gone up.

I was thinking the same thing. I went to price out a weekend to surprise the girls but the one that got really surprised was me. Those prices have gone up.
Almost $500 a night for a standard room at a few of the deluxes (non monorail). Ridiculous!
I think we might just do the Cruise and a couple nights off site. I already bought the airfare (Southwest, so I can cancel fee free though!)

I thought it was a glitch with the website cause I saw some deluxe for $800 a night.
