Help me decide... *I decided, LOL*
A friend got comp tickets from her friend for Sesame Street live tonite. there are 2 tickets "up in the air" and she offered them to me
My boys were never really into Sesame Street, or we would have made plans to take them and all go as a family. and now with the newborn, we havent even thought of going out yet. But since this came up, I figured theyd enjoy it and going with a friend, even more fun.. but now, which one to take ?
It makes me sad to pick only one Im trying to think of pros and cons and "Whose turn" it is.
John Anthony went to a Ducks game with daddy only (and 2 cousins) a few weeks ago, Nicholas had just had an allergic reaction and it was super last minute (they left the house in minutes) when we were given tickets. so that wasnt planned either Nicholas is younger ( 2 1/2) so he might enjoy it more, but he does get tired earlier, but Im planning to give them a nap beforehand anyway.
I figured John Anthony is more "mature" (as mature as a 4yr old can be ) but something keeps telling me to take NIcholas because him being younger, most of the time we say "well he's too little" and we forget that hes not a baby anymore. like even for going on certain home depot errands, or any major errands where we just wanna separate them so we both have it easier, JA gets more "shopping experiences"
but as far as fun stuff, they both go to everything, and JA has been to sesame place and Nicholas hasnt. (he was a newborn at the time, and we werent thrilled enough to go again this year and went to hershey/dutch).
Which one should I take?
My gut is telling me Nicholas(and the friend we're going with, shes his age!) and would a 4yr old be bored with sesame anyway? They really dont watch it if I put it on TV. But they love Elmo if we see elmo stuff...
help me decide.. first I wanted to take "the older one" (his bday is also coming up in a few weeks) but then I feel like we always swipe "the little one" aside for rare decisions like this...
help a mommy feel less guilty...

I would take Nicholas. I think there is more fun things that JA can do that Nicholas can't. Plus it would be a great date night w/ Mommy.

Re: Help me decide...
Why not think of something special to do with the one that doesn't go and ask them if they want to go. It's possible that one may rather stay home with you and have some special mommy time.

I'll be going tonite, so Ive already started thinknig of "cool" things that daddy does with them, so JA WILL WANT TO stay home and usually he does choose daddy over almost anything

I would do the same, and think of something fun for JA to do with daddy.

My MIL gave me the great idea of just putting their names in a hat. and Nicholas WON !
Johns coworker also recommended to him that the 4yr old might get bored faster, and I think I wanted to take Nicholas for the reasons I mentioned (Friend same age, has never been to sesame place), so I guess it worked out for him for a reason
JA wll have a blast with daddy, Im sure.
