Went to lamaze on Saturday!

So I signed up for lamaze/ child birth classes at St. Charles hospital and went to my first class on Sat.

I just wanted to say that I really liked it so far and really recommend it for FTMs!

So many people told me that lamaze is a waste of time, but I really enjoyed it. We did the breathing and stretching exercises that will not only help during labor but also help with the aches and pains I'm feeling now.

The instructor is a L&D nurse and talked about her experiences and things she's seen and gave a lot of really great advice. I was also really surprised how much my husband got into it too!! He was dreading going too but he was participating and asking questions/ taking it all in.

We also got the whole hospital tour and the run-through of the day which made it feel so real. I think it really JUST hit me then that we are having a baby in a month! Ahhh!!!

Anyway if you are debating about whether or not to do it, I say, go for it! I think its totally worth it.
