Need help with gate for stairs
We recently moved to an upstaors apartment from a ground floor townhome. Ds is not used to the staircase. I know he may be too old for a babygate to really be effective, but I was thinking more along the lines of a deterant. Problem is that the railing is just an iron railing on one side, wall starts a few inches past the first step. Do they even sell gates that attach to rails, and if they do, where?

They make gates that attach to railings. Not sure how it will work in your case but they tie around the railing

I have the gate pictured above and it's attached to the wall on one side, and wrapped around my wooden banister on the other side. The piece it's wrapped around is thick, but I think it would work on any railing. It's great...except most adults that come over also can't figure out how to use it!
I'm pretty sure I ordered it online from BRU or Amazon .
