DIY formal hair
We have a black tie wedding on Sunday. I really don't want I pay to have my hair done. What are your go-to formal hairstyles? I have long, straight, dark brown hair. Part of me is tempted to use the flat iron and do a sleek high pony tail. The other part of me is thinking to curl my hair and either leave it down or put it in a loose, low side pony tail.
I'm wearing a strapless navy blue gown with beading along the bust, kind of ruched though the bodice, and a layered, kind of mermaid bottom.

How bout pulled back in a chignon.....since ur wearing strapless. The high ponytail would be nice but with a dress that covers more. Your dress sounds beautiful by the way. Have a great time!

I wound up curling it and pinning it to one side so the curls hung over one shoulder. I was really happy with the way it turned out.
