Toys for 12-24 mos
DD's birthday is a week before Christmas (turning one this year). Some family members have offered to buy her some more substantial gifts and want me to let them know exactly what to buy. I'd like to take advantage and get some things that will last her until the following December (I can always store away things she will be ready for in a few months down the line). We are very tight on play space as we live in a 1-bedroom apartment. Any ideas on good toys that will get use between 12 and 24 months? Is this a good time to ask for a kitchen? For a "nice" doll set (I.e. corolle + accessories)? Or would those be better for bday #2? I'd love to hear any suggestions!

The kitchen is a great idea! Dd got the corolle doll and accessories for her 1st bday.

I got my DD a kitchen for her upcoming 1st birthday (12/8). I'm really excited about it, I think she'll love it!

Toys for 12-24 mos
DD is 17 months and we just got a kitchen. She loves it. She also loves her shopping cart and anything baby doll related. I'm hoping to get her a little stroller and a doll crib to store all her doll stuff and some M&D food sets for christmas. Maybe you could ask for some outdoor toys for next summer like a cozy coupe or push buggy. She also loves books and puzzles.
