dear gap...

Why do your clothes vary so much in size?
Why does my 3 year old fit into a size 2 years...
But my 1 year old doesn't?
It's annoying!

OK: rant over.

Re: dear gap...

Thank you!!!
Last summer my ds was 2. I wanted to get him jean shorts. He is on the shorter side so after several returns i got him 12-18 month shorts that were still too big. Annoyed I just saved them for this past summer, he is now 3 and do you know they were still falling off his waist? Maybe next summer they will fit. It makes no sense he is wearing 2t pants from carters with no problem.

My DS can only wear their khaki's/jeans if they have an adjustable waist.

I'm annoyed - my older DS loves their cotton pants but, 2T is a tad too short but, 3T is too big in the waist. Can't win!!!

Re: dear gap...

Stopped shopping at Gap for my boys. Their girl stuff seems to be better. I find their clothes don't wear well for boys and the sweaters are way too thick and heavy.

I actually like Target for my boys. Their Cherokee jeans fit them best and have the adjustable waste.

Gap sizes are tough! What's with the 6-12 months?? That's a really big range for only 1 size!
