1 Night Babymoon
My DH and I want to get away for just 1 night in October. Where can we go? Requirements: less than 3 hours from Suffolk, mix of relaxation/stuff to do, great food. Ideas? Thanks. :)

Why don't you do a night in montauk? It's the off season but it's supposed to be really beautiful this time of year.

I was going to suggest someplace like Mystic, CT? You might be able to get there in less than 3 hours using the ferry etc.

Re: 1 Night Babymoon
DH and I went to NYC for a night. We love to walk around, so we always chose a different area there and just kind of wander and see what we could find.

We went to AC for one night. We had a great dinner and then went to the comedy club and had the best virgin pina colada.

yea montauk is still nice but I don't know if you'll find a hotel that will let you stay for only 1 night. My parents went just last week mid-week and they had a 2 or 3 night minimum still. You can probably call and ask around. The drive out there is so nice- you can stop at all the little hamptons towns and walk around/ window shop... but wear comfy shoes!!
Also Greenport is nice too. The north fork always has so much going on in the fall. Lots of festivals, apple/pumpkin picking, roasted corn, wineries even though you can't drink are still fun. And that new hotel in Riverhead -Indigo is supposed to be really nice.
