We're going to see Elmo!
My mom won tickets for the Nassau Coliseum show this Saturday so Jesse is going to his first "event". Should be an experience. I've never been to a children's themed event before.

We're going tomorrow night w/ our 3 year old and 13 month old!  I've taken my 3 year old every year since he was 14 months and he LOVES it!  Jesse will have a great time!! Enjoy!

We went tonight and it was so cute. Kiera had so much fun. At the end she was crying that it was over.
But bring lots of cash because everything is expensive. $10 for a balloon, $15 for a light. It's crazy.

That sounds like fun, esp if they are good seats. My only child theme concert was the Wiggles and it was cool b/c they didnt care that the kids were running down front of the stage as long as they didnt run up onto it and disturb the show. Alot different than adult concerts (obviously!) have fun!

Ugh! I know I'm going to have to buy one of those lights again this year! I've been searching my house for last year's, but can't find it!  My little guy is definitely going to want a balloon. Those prices are outrageous.  At least we're bringing our own drinks & snacks!

You will love it. We have gone the past 3 years.
the merchandise is VERY expensive!! Baloons alone are $10 & they are nice enough to sell them during intermission they bring them down the aisles to get all the kids whining!! 
Tell your child you will get them one later & go to Party City & buy one for $3

We went last year with Andrew. He loved it and of course daddy spent $15 and got him one of hte ELmo light things that spin like crazy. I had to take it away recently because I was afraid Lauren would lose an eye with it  Oh, and it was there last year that I told DH we were having #2!!

The show was awesome!!!!!  OMG, my boys had the best time!!! It was so great to see my 3 year old clapping and dancing. Defintely the best show in the 3 years I've been going. My big boy wants to see it again!

We went to the 10:30 show on Saturday. We got there by nine and met Zoe and Grover. Emily was such a good girl. It was so cute. She was clapping her hands and screaming hello to Elmo. Really cute. We bought her a Zoe tutu and she wore it all day yesterday. So cute.

Great show.
Thanks for the warning about the balloons. We told Damien we would get him one from the store. (We counted $80.00 worth of balloons on the ceiling) He did get an Elmo spinner and a shirt.

Her name is Roxy Marie-I have no idea who that is. But that's what it says in the program.

We loved the show too and my favorite part was also the disco section. And we got the spinning flashlight too, although he kept pointing and whining for a balloon. We ended up getting him the balloon the next day at the party store. Definitely a good show!

Debbie we were at the 10:30 show too. I wish we would have known. We only found out at 9:30 the night before that someone was giving us tickets.
