Soooo....how was everyone's appointments today???
I know a lot of us had appointments today; be it betas, monitoring, consults..... How'd it go??
Sono looked good, no cysts, no call about bw so that's good. Bcp for one week, back again next week.

One cyst but it's not estrogen filled so we're a go.
Started stimming. 150 menopour 300 gonal f.
Back on Thursday for bw abd a follicle check.

Small cysts. Estrogen a little high so were a go
Stemmed tonight. 300 follistim, 2 menopur vials. Femara 5 mg and baby aspirin. Back wed for blood sono...

Follie check after femara. Only 1 on the right (blocked tube) 3 under 10 on left. Most likely cancel IUI this cycle and just go with TI. I go tmrw for IVF consult and back wed for one more follie check b4 deciding on canceling IUI

I know Goldie.. I was afraid w high estrogen and cysts we weren't going to be able to do this month but its a go. You'll be a week or so behind.

Bw/ Sono today. Some tiny cysts but not a big deal. Started stimming.
300 Gonal F and 150 Menopur. I hate Menopur! ouch. As DH was getting ready to shoot me up with meds, I said, I really can't believe we are going through this all again, sigh. I also said if this works we are so taking a vacation! I go back on Thursday for BW/Sono. Can't believe I'm on this crazy train again.
Glad a lot of us are cycling together. Interesting a lot of us didn't respond well and had non to freeze. It will be interesting to see how we all respond with things tweaked a little bit. It HAS to work for us this time!

No IVF for me this cycle. The RE does not want to start anything until we do a few more diagnostics. I have to admit, I was pissed but I rather make sure everything is OK before I invest my time and $ into IVF. I will know the entire gamplan on thursday after my consult. I can't wait!! It's driving me crazy!

babydreams21...do you mix your gonal and menopur? When I did that last cycle it helped and didn't burn as much. Oh, and I injected super super slow. Alllllll aboarrrrrrrd WOOT WOOT 
lillies...I know, it's so frustrating, I'm sorry  . Definitely better to get all of the testing out of the way first before spending so much $.

Oh so sorry you have to wait! Uhhh but its better you know whats going on and get all of the testing done. Take the month to get healthy and relax a bit.

No, I don't mix them. I feel like the Gonal is super easy. Mixing the Menopur seems annoying. I really have no idea but DH does it and theres a lot of parts. He uses that Q cap thing. IDK. Do you inject the Gonal into the vial of Menopur once its mixed?
I really can't believe I am starting this whole crazy process again. More meds are coming on Thursday.

I was nervous the first time I mixed but it hurt so much less and it was kinda fun like the chemistry set I never got as a child LOL.
Here's what I did.
Mix 1ml of saline into one vial of menopur. Withdraw that entire solution. I used the q cap with a syringe.
Put that solution into another vial of menopur powder.
Click gonal f pen where it needs to be, put on needle
Put the gonal F into the menopur vial that you just did. (quick cap did not work on gonal f pen, must use the gonal f needle)
Withdraw that entire cocktail with quick cap and syringe.
Attach needle to syringe.
Inject.

Just read this now. Did the shot like 20 min ago. I mentioned to DH that I hear you can do it in 1 shot. So he had already mixed the 2 vials of Menopur and had them in the syringe at this point. I was like just try tomorrow but he was like I can do it now. He pulled down the plunger on the syringe to leave more space. He then injected the Gonal F pen into the syringe. So it was one big shot. Does that sound okay? I watched the Gonal go into the syringe and it looked fine. Seems like we got everything. It Hurt WAY less. Did your RE say this was okay? Thanks! 1 shot is way better than 2!

Yea, I'm sure that's fine. Dr Stelling recommended I mix them so I only had one injection instead of two. Glad it went well!!

I go tomorrow for a follicle scan, hoping the 250mg did the trick and we have some nice sized follicles. I've been feeling something going on down there, so if all goes to plan and they're the right size, the IUI will be over the weekend
