Throws up when overtired
DS tends to throw up when he's really overtired. Doesn't happen a lot, but I notice on a few occasions when he's just beyond exhausted and tells me he wants to lay down he sometimes throws up after. He's totally fine after and goes to sleep fine and wakes feeling well. Just find it weird only when he's really tired. Happened when we had a late flight one night and he kept saying he just wants to go home and sleep last winter. Happened on Rosh Hashannah at a family friend's house. We had a long day and them stayed late. He came and laid on me ans said he wanted to go home to sleep and happened today. He was up early for soccer, then we saw a show and around 6:30 he said he wanted to go to sleep. There were many times we've had long days and he's fine staying up late. Just notice on some occasions when it's late and he asks to go home or go to sleep.
He's 4 yrs old. Been happening a couple of years and usually not one to throw up a lot. He's had a stomach virus, but that's different. Just wondering if anyone's LO is like that. Then totally fine the next day. Not even warm or anything showing signs he's sick.

Throws up when overtired
No advice really. I just know that when I'm on no sleep, I will feel incredibly nauseous and want to throw up.

Re: Throws up when overtired
My dd has done this the past 2 Saturdays...both days were long days for her and she was up later than usual, but she also has horrible allergies...I'm not sure if she was throwing up because she was exhausted or because of the post-nasal drip...
