DD was 25 months. We needed the crib for the new baby. DD loved her toddler bed from day one. She is 3 and still in it. We will buy her a full bed next year.

28 months, just for more room! My son is almost 3.5 now and I cannot imagine him in his crib still.

No issues transitioning

I just had this conversation with my pediatrican on saturday.
My DS is 2.5 and still in a crib no interest at all of climbing out - his doctor said it is perfectly fine to keep in crib as long as we want.

My DD went to a twin bed at 2.5, never even attempted to climb out. We moved her because we needed the crib for the new baby.

She probably would have stayed in it until at least 3 otherwise. Much easier to get them to nap that way!

2.5. He never climbed out but it was also near impossible to get him out.

We converted her bed at 26 months because my DH wanted her to be in a big girl bed. I told him that if this backfires we are changing it back. She did great and is still doing great at 2.5 yrs old.

DS turned 3 in August and he is still in his crib. Has never climbed out. We have no plans to convert in the near future.
