Preterm labor :(
34 weeks 5 days and just spent the past 7 hours in Labor and Delivery. Hadn't felt baby move since Tuesday and although this is somewhat normal as I have an anterior placenta it was worrisome. Also was having what I thought wa Braxton hicks every few minutes. Turns out I was contracting every minute in a half to two minutes and they were getting painful. Ceviche was closed and long . They gave me iv fluids to try to stop the contractions and that didn't work so then i got two shots of tramoline or something like that. That worked and now just a few an hour that arnt painful like they were. Dr said I am. I longer able to work and they will fill out disability paperwork. ;( But baby is ok and staying put for now as I'm ok which is all that truly matters.
Grow baby grow!

Re: Preterm labor :(
Oh and I was at Southampton Hospital I know most don't deliver there that is on this board but what an amazing experience. Doctor was one from my practice and I had the two sweetest nurses. They were all so calming and reassuring and attentive. I was the only one in L&D too. I can't say enough good thins about my experience there today .

Preterm labor :(
You are so close! I had the same thing happen at 29 weeks- very scary and been on bed rest since then. Rest up as the LO will soon be here!

You are so close, just try to take it easy! But if it makes you feel better, at 35 weeks, the baby would likely be fine, aside from a few extra days in the hospital.
Try not to stress!!! Good luck
