Need advice - endo related
I need some advice here. I went for a consult with Dr B last week who recommended a laparoscopy for suspected endo based upon an ultrasound. I had always had symptoms but didn't really think they were sever enough to have endo. I went for a second opinion yesterday with Dr Palter and after looking at my records suggested that he wouldn't have diagnosed me with endo by what was written in the records. I had another sonogram done with Dr P and they saw a cyst on my left ovary but recommended I wait another month to see if it goes away on its own. Since I was only CD4, Dr P said it could be the follicle from the previous cycle which hadn't yet dissolved. He said he cannot rule out endo as it is uncommon to have a cyst left over from the previous cycle. He also said that even if I do have endo, laparoscopy may not be the best option (if tubes are blocked or there are any other issues)
My question is, I have a lap scheduled on Wednesday and now I am really unsure if I should go through with it or not. I am so worried and don't know what the right thing is. Any thoughts/similar experiences? Thanks
ETA: spelling.

Re: Need advice - endo related
I had surgery for endo stage 4 in march and it was the bet thing I ever did. I had a lot o symptoms though as we'll as a cyst (endometrioma) on each ovary. What in the ultrasound made dr b think endo? Was it the cyst? They should be able to tell just by the look of cyst if it is and endo related endometrioma or a regular cyst that comes and goes with your cycle.

Thanks for responding!
The doppler was showing resistance and he said the blood flow to the uterus was reversed. He said he was over 90% sure. Dr B didn't mention anything about a cyst (I think he mentioned he saw a corpus luteum from my left ovary), only Dr Palter saw that. Dr Palter also didn't have doppler sonography so he couldn't judge based on that (he did say having reverse blood flow didn't always indicate endo).
