Question for Disney experts

We are going to Disney next Saturday.
We plan on going to MK for 2 or 3 days, spending a day in the pool and then heading out to other parts of Florida.

I see that there is the Halloween party going on.

What happens if you are in the park during the day? Are there fireworks earlier? Do you get "kicked out"? Are you able to stay for the Halloween party?

We love the light parade and fireworks. Will those still be available?

On the nights they have Mickey's Not so Scarey Halloween Party you have to leave the park early if you do not have a bracelet. I think you leave at 6pm. The light parade and fireworks are offerend on nights when the Halloween event isn't taking place.

I'm not a Disney expert at all but since we are going in a few weeks I did some research and from what I got, there is no electric parade/fireworks on the nights of the Halloween Party. They may have some kind of firework display but it would be part of the party (which you have to pay extra for). We are planning on going to MK over 2 days. One day there will be no Halloween Party so we will stay for the electric parade/fireworks and the park closes at 9 I believe. The other day the park will close at 7 for the Halloween Party. I haven't decided if we will go to the Halloween Party yet.

we have gone numerous times for halloween and this is exactly what they do. They do a different parade and firework show for those that have tickets to the halloween party.

That is really good to know!
I'm def going to not go to the park the days of the party. Essentially, you get less time and stuff for your $$.
Thanks!

Party tickets are cheaper than just a day at MK tickets. If you're only going to MK for a day or 2, you're not getting enough days where you get a discount on tickets.

So party tickets are between $62-67 depending upon the night. Where a reg MK ticket runs somewhere around $90. I'd consider spending the day at the pool, napping, and doing a party night. And with a party ticket you can enter the park at 4pm and the party ends at midnight. The parade and fireworks are amazing!!!!

We're doing a real quick Disney trip in 2 weeks b/c we'll be in FL anyway- I was asked to be Godmother for my BFF's baby. We decided to do 2 party nights since we had so much fun!! And we prefer to sleep late, lounge at the pool & then go to the parks, so it works out well for our family. Just something else to consider.

It's def cheaper! And the rides are empty!! Last year we were at a sold out party and we still never waited more than 5 minutes for any ride. Everyone is busy trick or treating and waiting on line to meet characters (at party nights there will be characters out for meet & greets that normally are never out at any other time), that we were able to ride every ride we wanted, plus see the parade & fireworks.

If you decide to go, don't forget your costumes!Chat Icon

You will be asked to leave before 7 pm. They kick everyone without a bracelet out of the park. If you have a ticket for the event you can get in as of 4. But no tickets means the park closes early.
