I say find out! It's great knowing what you're having. It's still a surprise when you find out at 20 weeks, and everyone is still surprised when you tell them.
I'm a planner and like to be prepared so the thought of not finding out isn't even an option for me.

Don't do it!! Best surprise moment ever! There's nothing to compare to that build up, anticipation, guessing, and all that fun stuff. That moment when your baby is born and you find out is like nothing else! We've been Team Green twice so far, and will be again this time around!

I found out and I don't regret it. I like knowing what to expect in that way so I can plan accordingly. Maybe I will be team green if I have a second one.

To find out or not to find out!!
We are finding out. My sister waited and said when they announced "it's a girl" she said it did not really feel any different than if she had learned 20 weeks before. Plus then she would have had some gender specific clothing.

To find out or not to find out!!
I was team green and I would never do it any other way. It was an amazing experience when we heard its a boy. I think it is so different when they say it's a boy and hand you your son then at the 20 week soon and hand you a picture. I am not saying people who find out are wrong just a totally different experience
With regard to clothes. I got no gender neutral clothes. At my shower people got me the other stuff and I bought a 4 pack of onesies to have at home. By the time I got out of the hospital my little boy had almost a full waredrobe of boys clothing

Re: To find out or not to find out!!
It's such a personal choice. For me, I will enjoy being surprised at 20 weeks. I cannot imagine the gender of my baby superceding the excitement of meeting my baby on the day it's born. At that point, I won't care what it is, but rather just that it is here!! At this point, though, I can enjoy finding out the gender and thinking about/preparing for it.

To find out or not to find out!!
I found out with the first and will (TRY!) to stay Team Green for the second. I really did not want to find out but I compromised with DH and we agreed to do it this way. In the end, I am kind of glad I went that route. I had a pretty difficult birth experience and I honestly hardly remember the day he was born (which still makes me sad to this day) so I kind of feel like the surprise would have been wasted for me.
Since you were already team green at least you know what it's like to experience that. I really don't think you could go wrong either way though as there are perks to both!

Re: To find out or not to find out!!
Don't find out! We found out with my DS because I had a rough pregnancy and needed an amnio. I was convinced next time around that I was having a boy. We didn't want to find out because so many people had told us it was the best surprise. We didn't care about setting up a room since they would both be sharing a room, clothes my mom would buy right after I had my c-section and I got tons of clothes as gifts. The whole operating room knew that if I had a girl her name would be Caroline so as soon as my doctor announced it was a girl they all started to sing Sweet Caroline. We were stunned that it was a girl and it was the best surprise. It is a personal choice do what you feel is right.

Re: To find out or not to find out!!
I think it would be an awesome surprise to wait..
HOWEVER..
I cannot stand when people say the excitement isn't that great at the birth when you already know. I don't know one person who wasn't so so excited and happy at their childs birth regardless of surprise or not. There is nothing in the world like the feeling of meeting your child for the first time, even when you know their gender! At least for me it's that way...
I think people should do what they want! I'm sure it's exciting to find out at the birth but for me I was super excited to know halfway through...then I concentrated on names, picked out little outfits etc and decorated a boy nursery. But it would have been fun too to not know

Re: To find out or not to find out!!
It really is such a personal choice and I don't care what anybody says but one is no better than the other. It all depends on you.
I personally am not the type who could buy all yellow and green and call it a day. I like to plan. I have ideas for a nursery if its a girl and that's not something I want to attempt when baby is already here. Some people are much more patient and are ok buying gender neutral everything...that's ok too, but I am not one of those people. This is baby #2 and if its a girl, I need to buy clothes and bedding, etc. Now, if I had a boy and a girl and a 3rd on the way...then sure, I would consider being team green bc then id already be set with all I could ever need.
Its a surprise whether you find out at 20 weeks or 40.
my ob is ALWAYS trying to convince me to be team green but I just don't think I have it in me.

Re: To find out or not to find out!!
Just make sure you do what you want
For the team greeners it was the best...... For them
For the ones that found out.... For them
Finding out or being team green does not make anyone's birth better or more special
It is amazing either way
I look at it like this if you like the suspense then go for it,for me it would have ruined my time bc I would have wondered constantly and would think about shopping and decorating. Etc. so for me it's not worth it bc I wanted to enjoy every second of my pregnacy. For some It is
Either way its a personal choice and no choice is better

I will find out for this one. If we ever go for #2, I'm leaning towards being Team Green for that one.

Re: To find out or not to find out!!
For me, I found out & I'm glad I did. I felt so out of it right after giving birth, I didn't know what was going on, I was shaking like crazy, I was exhausted. I preferred finding out under more relaxed circumstances... we did a gender reveal with our family & friends & it was a really fun way to find out.

Awesome! We found out with my dd and didn't this time. That "its a boy" moment was so awesome I wish I had been team green the first time!

Re: To find out or not to find out!!
I like the novelty of a surprise. I think it's fun to keep guessing. It's makes the last few weeks exciting when you feel like crap. Since this is my second I picked boy and girl bedding and have a few gender neutral items to start with. I got so many clothes last time that I think I will probably get more this time.

To find out or not to find out!!
We were team green with my DD but I was SO convinced that it was a girl that when the doctor said "its a girl" it was as if I already knew, I wasn't surprised at all. I probably would have been MORE surprised if I found out at 20 weeks!! That being said, we are considering being team green again, this time because my husband wants to be, I am mostly in agreement with his decision to hold out as I like torturing all of our friends and family that get so PO'd that we aren't finding out!!! I like the idea of building up the suspense, but with baby number two there are quite a few more logistics to account for where gender may play a roll (i.e. using DD"s old crib or not, clothing needs etc) plus, I like the idea of having a gender reveal party since we wont be having a shower or anything this time- so we may find out.

Re: To find out or not to find out!!
We are going to find out but we are going to have a gender reveal party with our closest friends and family members. Part of me wants to wait but I also want to plan a gender specific nursery and avoid the gender neutral clothing (I'm just not a fan). DH definitely wants to find out so we figured having the gender reveal will make it a little more special.
My best friend was team green with her first baby and is staying team green this time around as well. To each his/her own!
