clomid/headaches
Hi Ladies,
I took 150 of clomid for 5 days last week. I finished last Wednesday. I had headaches the first few days I was taking the medicine and then they went away. I've had a headache now off and on since Monday. Just wondering if this could be from the clomid because no medication is working to get rid of this headache. I woke up this morning feeling hungover  .
I go to the RE tomorrow but I figured I would ask here first.

i was on clomid 50mg though but no side effects, sorry you are going through this. Maybe you can ask to be put on femara instead? Fingers crossed that this cycle works for you!

When I was on Clomid I had very severe headaches, but they went away when I stopped taking the medication. I moved onto injectables b/c I couldn't take another month on Clomid. Plus, I never made multiple follies on it anyway.

My RE said I have to go up to 250 before going on to injectables but if the headaches are bad at 150 I don't know if I could handle uping the dosage. I'll have to speak with her tomorrow about this. Hopefully I don't have to get that point and this cycle works. Grow follies grow!!

Clomid didn't give me headaches but the Femara does. And they are bad. They also last well after I finish taking the meds.
I have no advice. I just have DH rub my head at night until I fall asleep. That's all that works for me

The RE said my follies are growing really slow, they wanted me to do another round of clomid but 200 mg not 150 like last time. When I told her I was getting headaches (I actually had a headache this morning when I was there) they gave me a Rx for Femara. Hopefully the side effects will not be as bad.
Do you still get the hot flashes on femara, like on the clomid??
