What to wear at night to sleep?

Last winter dd wore a one piece footed zip up pj, a sleep sack over that, and little gloves on her hands. She is 12mos now and I cannot put a sleep sack or gloves on her. In the middle of the night one of her hands was frozen. One warm prob because she was hugging her lovey or her hand was under her.

I was cold!

Do I give her a blanket? Dress her more warm? Her little feet were so cold this am. I feel bad I am snuggled in my bed warm and she's chilly.

You can use the "early walker" sleep sacks that have the foot cut outs. I used them until my son moved into a toddler bed.

What to wear at night to sleep?

Last winter DD wore two piece PJs (long sleeve) with a fleece footsie blanket sleeper over it. And socks under that. She doesn't keep a blanket on her.

DD has had a blanket for the longest time she's 3 but only recently she keeps them actually on her, sometimes. She has always worn 2 pieces pj's sometimes with socks most times without.

her hands and feet are always cold but her belly and back are warm.

You could get bigger feetless sleepsacks, give a blanket.

If she's not waking then I think she is probably fine

What to wear at night to sleep?

My ds had a blanket by 12 months. I had him sleep in 2 piece Jammie's. pants and long sleeve shirt and socks.

He never wore gloves and was a winter newborn.

DD is 16 months and still in a regular sleepsack. She's in two piece or footie pj's now that it's cold. I don't have any fleece sleepsacks so I'll probably pick up a few of the early walker ones.

My DS was still in a regular sleepsack until a few moths ago when it got hot. He's 2. You can definitely still use a sleepsack at 12 months! Last winter I had him in fleece footies with a fleece sleepsack over it - from about 14 moths - to like 20 months. He could stand and walk around in his crib fine in it!

How come you can't put a sleepsack on her? She just doesn't like it you mean? DS wears one at 12 months.

Really she was cold now? We have the a/c on for us and 4month old baby and my 3 yr old has it on in his room still. Lol

At that age during the winter ds was in wither feetie pjs or long sleeve and pant pjs with socks a s a knitted blanket.

I absolutely love early walker sleepsacks. I have to pick up a heavier one for this winter for DS. But I am a huge sleepsack fan! He moved around the crib too much for a regular blanket to ever stay on him.

The nights have been cold lately. I've had dd in fleece pjs the last couple nights. I think I'm going to get her some of the early walker sleep sacks.

Re: What to wear at night to sleep?

DD is 15 months and still uses a regular sleep sack. She moves around so much that I like that it stays on her to keep her warm. We don't have fleece ones yet for the winter, so I'll either get the ones with the feet cut out and she'll wear footie pajamas, or I'll get the Carter's ones, because they have sleeves, and she'll wear a regular sleep sack for one more season. I think we'll switch to a blanket in the spring.

All summer he wore a long sleeve onesie and had blankets. He's had blankets since he was a newborn. We tried the two piece pjs but he moves a lot so his belly was always showing. So now it's back to the long sleeve onesie, pj pants and socks. Plus his blankets.

i dress ds1 in footie pjs and he gets a blanket. i don't remember exactly when we started giving him a blanket, maybe 5-6 months old? it was whenever he started immediately flipping over on his belly when we put him in the crib.

Re: What to wear at night to sleep?

I gave both my girls blankets at 10 months, they were both walking so I didn't think it would pose a threat to them. For the real cold nights I would put a onsie on and fleece footie pajamas.

Re: What to wear at night to sleep?

why can't you use a sleep sack?
dd is almost 11 months... and quite tall for her age. the size large sleepsack (halo) is still swimming on her, and they come in XL as well.
right now i'm dressing her in short sleeve/pants pajamas. it stays pretty warm in her room, but she gets up for an early morning bottle, so I usually put the sleep sack on then, so she's snuggly for the next couple of hours.

What to wear at night to sleep?

DD was in sleep sack until 2.5, and we only stopped because we switched her to toddler bed. She loved it and it kept her warm.
