PPD at 10 wks PP
Is it possible to get PPD when the baby is 10 weeks old? I recently went back to work, so I don't know if that is contributing to it as well, but I am so sad all the time. I feel like I am on the verge of tears at all times. I just don't want to do anything but sit at home with my baby. I am not having any dark thoughts or anything, just crying, a lot. I am so sad and I don't know if it's the going back and being away from her or something else.

I think going back to work def triggered it. I would def talk to a dr about it . Maybe find a therapist. I found this helped me through mine.

YES! I had it for a YEAR until I was diagnosed/decided to see someone. I kept thinking it was baby blues or feeling sad i was back at work, etc.
I later read that it can occur anytime within the year after birth.
Hugs to you... please FM if you want to talk. been there... you sound a lot like me. never wanted to be away from the baby, cried all the time, etc.

You can get ppd anytime up until a year...in fact if it is right after delivery it is most likely baby blues. PPD doesn't normally show up until at least 3 months later...
