Re: Jacket for Infants
I have the sherpa pram from carters. You can use this in the seat.
I usually only use it if we are outside for a long time. For the car, a light jacket and a blanket. I feel like she gets so hot in the seat just plainly dressed.

Re: Jacket for Infants
I never really used a jacket. I used the Bundle Me (they make a fall and winter one). If I was going to be outdoors for a long period of time I would put a light fleece or blanket on with the Bundle Me

I used the sherpa jacket from carters. I had the pram but it was so much easier to use the jacket and then just throw a blanket over her legs.

Love this! I used this mostly for walks though. Depending on how cold it was, I just used the car seat cover and/or a blanket for the car.

Re: Jacket for Infants
I just used the jj cole thing on the outside of the carseat. Sometimes Id put a blanket on their lap too. Id put the jj cole flap btwn the handle and the visor of the carseat so no wind got in. If it was really cold Id put a fleece outfit on them.

We used bundle me...never put in jacket. If they are in the convertible car seat find something not to bulky.

Re: Jacket for Infants
The first winter (DD was born Nov) I put DD in a sweatshirt and a hat. Put her in carrier with shower cap bundle me. If it was really cold I would add blanket. She was plenty warm for the 10 second walk to the heated car.
Second winter DD was out of infant carrier. She wore a north face denali fleece with hat and gloves. Again, totally warm for the short walk to the car. The north face is very warm and I keep blankets in the car for DD.

Re: Jacket for Infants
I did the Carter's Sherpa jacket and a blanket. My dd tends to sweat in her car seats. A bundle me for the stroller for cold days!

I did the jj cole insert and i would layer her up or i had a northfacr jacket i barely used. My dd runs hot always has so i usually put a hat on, long sleeve onesie, sweater and then zipped her up all the way in her jj cole.

This. The shower cap style one that doesn't affect the straps And now that she is older and in a convertible carseat-she wears the Lands End Squall jacket all winter. Super thin but super insulated and warm.

Re: Jacket for Infants
I was wondering about this too. DD was born in August so I need cooler weather clothes and definitely a jacket.
If anyone's interested, Carter's is having a flash sale until Wednesday and the prices are great.
