Which highchair did you register for?
And how did you choose it? I'm so undecided.

Crashing from the "other side" - we have the Stokke Tripp Trapp and love it. Love that he can eat at the table, love that it blends in with furniture and love that it grows with him.

Wasn't it a problem when he was really little? Since it has no tray, and no recline?

Re: Which highchair did you register for?
We have the svan high chair. I love it. It has a tray that we used when he was younger. He is now 3 and still uses it. I love that it looks like a piece of furniture and cleans so easy. We havent decided if we are going to buy another one for the new baby or use the same one and just have ds start using our regular kitchen chairs. We'll wait until the new baby is a few months old before making that decision.

I have the fischer price space saver highchair and I love it!! It is just like a regular high chair but goes on a chair and doesnt take up any room. If people come over and we need the chair we can just take it off or use a fold up chair.

I got the Peg-Perego Siesta but haven't used it yet. It looks nice and easy to clean. It folds up, but I'm not sure how compactly because I don't have anything to compare to it

Re: Which highchair did you register for?
We have the Graco Blossom. It's a 4-in-1 which is really convenient. And the cover, straps and tray are really easy to wash.
It might be too big and baby item looking for some, but for us it works

(Note: You can purchase tray separately.)
I was afraid of this before buying it so we started with the Oxo Tot. It is a really nice chair - well padded, clean and sleek, easy to wash, easy to use... But DS is super social and so when he was mobile and we would eat dinner he would whine and whine bc he wanted to sit with us and sitting in his Oxo wasn't good enough because he wasn't actually at the table. Eventually we decided to get the Stokke as an early birthday present (we got it around 10 months I want to say). So we didn't buy the tray or cushioning - the tray would've defeated the purpose for our buying it and he was big enough where he didn't need the padding. But either of those can be purchased separately. As for recline, neither the Oxo nor the Stokke have it and it wasn't missed. You really don't want to feed your baby solids if they can't sit up well anyway and I felt that the Oxo and Stokke both promoted awesome posture. He is REALLY comfy in both. My mom bought him a high chair for her house (I think a Graco?) and even in a fully upright position, he always appears to be slouching. He doesn't love it and is always pushing himself up. HTH!
PS: My SIL has the Stokke for both her LOs and highly recommended from when they were both really tiny, she just loved it.

we have this one too, love it. a space saver would actually have taken up too much space for us since we have an apt and only 4 chairs at the table. we need them for adult use so the space saver would have been very inconvenient.
