IVF Update and None to Freeze
So none to freeze on day 6. So upset about it. 5 fertilized. 1 didn't make it by transfer day. 2 transferred. Watching 2 more but they didn't make it to freeze. Now I'm thinking the 2 we put back which were early blasts wouldn't of made it either. Spoke with RE today, I was questioning the early blasts, he said they are either slow or not healthy.
So what do you think? Do you think I have poor egg quality? Maybe this diagnosis of unexplained really isn't unexplained anymore.
I went in today 2dp5dt for BW. I didn't get a call so Progesterone is fine.
This IVF cycle is not going at all like I hoped it would.

I think it can vary from cycle to cycle
Do u have amh or fish issues?

I never had any to freeze, with DS only 3/10 fertilized w ICSI, only 1 of the 3 looked great on day 3 - he is perfect, making me chase him around the house at 6:30 am LOL!
Hang in there! Putting back 2 on day 5 is great!

We had 6 make it to day 5 and we transferred 2. None made it to freeze. I am currently 7+ weeks pregnant. Don't give up hope!

Out of 19 fertilized eggs we only had one left to freeze on our second cycle. Our first cycle with DD 18 fertilized and none left to freeze but I got pregnant with DD. Hang in there. Try to be positive about the two inside

Thanks ladies. Hearing some of the stories you wrote on here really helps and makes me think it is possible these 2 can make it. I'm really hoping I get a BFP. The thought of doing IVF again and so soon is so upsetting. I'm trying to remain positive but its hard. Hoping for a miracle!

Something similar happened to me. On day three my embies looked great but slowed down by day four. Doctors say it could be sperm, lab and or the egg.

my first IVF cycle was not successful and i also had none to freeze. I was so devastated, the RE even talked about possible embryo quality issues and getting PGD done for the next cycle. RE even spoke about donor eggs/sperm. I didnt know what to do or think.
But with my second cycle my RE decided to slightly change things up and we ended up having 8 to freeze! we also got our  from that cycle.
soooo you just never know, every cycle is so different. Hopefully you dont need another cycle

Thanks for giving me some hope! I'm hoping if I need another IVF things go better. What did you do differently the 2nd time?

If you have to be in that situation and do another IVF cycle...it will definitely be better the second time. My doc told me...its not like something went wrong, its trial and error. They will try something different the second time.
