Norweigian Breakaway in the Winter

I saw they have a cruise over Christmas from NYC and was looking into it. Are any of the pools covered? Do you think there is enough to do on the sea days to/from NY without the water areas? Also, how was the family programming?

We cruised NCL Gem two years ago for Christmas. We really didn't like it. In fairness, a big issue we had was younger DS was not old enough if camp, so we found it difficult to entertain an almost 2 year old all day and night. I will say that my older DS enjoyed the camp for a couple of hours here and there. The weather was not great even when we were in Florida and the Bahamas. It just wasn't our cup of tea.
