Favors or Goody Bag for 4th Birthday
Should I do a goody bag full of stuff or some type of favor for the kids at the party? Ages will range from 2-12... It is in mid October...
And what kind of favor?
Or what kind of stuff for goody bags?

Favors or Goody Bag for 4th Birthday
i decided to just give out a cookie that goes with the theme of the party for my sons 2nd birthday.
otherwise i had looked into ice cream cups, water bottles, etc all with their names on them.

Favors or Goody Bag for 4th Birthday
I spend so much money when I buy everything individually.
My twins birthday is sports. We are giving a Melissa & Doug paint set that comes with paint brush. They are $5. each & Perfect in my eyes.

Honestly, when I get a goody bag with little trinkets, the kids play for about two minutes and then I throw it in the trash when I clean up. I much prefer one thing.

When did things get so out of control? When I was a kid, I remember getting a little, plastic goodie bag filled with candy. I was content. Each bag probably cost the giver no more than one dollar (candy included). Call me old fashioned, but I think things are ridiculous nowadays.

I think I will do one big favor... Last year I did plastic pumpkins with Halloween themed stuff in it...
Now I have to get thinking on what to do for the favor...

Favors or Goody Bag for 4th Birthday
I am a big fan of one big favor. As for pp's comments about remembering getting just a small goody bag with candy when they were a kid... I don't even remember getting that.. The guests just brought a gift for the bday kid, they didn't get one back! ahaha but seeing as how that is how it is done these days, I say one big favor. Halloween themed would be fun, Candy Apples, etc.

I remember goody bags too at my kid parties.. I have done it for his last 3 parties. I wanted to do something different. With the different ages and kids with food allergies, I think I am going to do a water bottle or something to that degree...
