Ob PP
I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl two weeks ago and I'm finding it really hard to adjust to not seeing my ob on a regular basis. It has been a journey to get here and I feel like I've had such an intense relationship with her given that journey. At my two week follow up, I learned she was taking leave at the end of the year and I've been crying about it since. Is this normal or could it be the hormones? Anyone miss their relationship with their ob?

Re: Ob PP
Not weird at all. I gave birth last Friday, and kind of miss those weekly visits especially since my DD came early and is still in the NICU. I just think to myself, " she's still suppose to be in my tummy and these visits are suppose to continue".
At the same time I've been very hormonal so it's a combination of both.

Re: Ob PP
I wasn't that close with my ob, and I'd complain about the long wait every time, but after giving birth I felt a little sad about not having those appointments anymore. I think it was just part of the pregnancy experience that I'll miss, the excitement & anticipation of it. Plus the office staff was so nice too. I think it's normal to feel that way, don't worry!!!
