Has anyone's doctor done this?
Had my 32 week visit today and saw a brand new dr in my practice. She squeezed my stomach to see of baby was head down? Is this unusual? FTM here with lots of anxiety and a baby that I can't feel move half the time bc of anterior placenta

Yes and the first time he did it it was the weirdest thing. He was doing it to check the size of the baby.

I have anterior placenta. You're confusing us Mod :P.
They haven't squeezed mine but I get sonos like every 5 minutes so they know what position he is in. But I have heard of this. I wouldn't worry about it

Haha at old school. This doctor is new to the practice she just completed residency in July. She seemed knowledgable and was super nice. I only mentioned anterior placenta bc I was scared the squeezing could hurt it. I'm sure there is nothing they would do that would hurt her I just worry about everything! And I get Sonos every 5 minutes too due to various things throughout. Just had one Friday bc I wasn't feeling movement (again!) baby was fine and kicking away Damn anterior placenta!
