Prednisone during cycle?
What is the primary reason why prednisone is used during a cycle? I met with Dr. Saketos on Friday, and she mentioned that the next time I come in, they're going to run a fasting glucose test and depending in the results, have me start prednisone- but didn't specifically say why I would need it, what it does, and how it would help increase the chances of pregnancy. Anyone have any insight?

Prednisone during cycle?
I was on a steroid during my ivf cycle. I believe they use it to suppress your immune system.

It decreases inflammation.... they would have to run a glucose test because it also increases your sugar so they would probably hesitate to give it to you if you are diabetic or pre-diabetic.
