Which room would you prefer?

If you had a choice, which hotel room would you take for a couple and 1 child? I booked both for Lake George and need to cancel one.

Room - King Bed:
On ground floor floor, will need to keep shades down for privacy most of the time. Easy access to outdoor pool through sliding door. May not get the best view of the fireworks or lake.

Room with 2 Queen Beds:
2nd or 3rd floor, better view of the fireworks/lake, $200 more. Not as easy access to the outdoor pool. Not sure if that matters with the weather at 75-80 degrees up there....

Probably the cheaper one. I keep my shades down most of the times at hotels anyway.

It's nice that you have access to the pool from the ground floor, but then you can't lock the door. That would concern me. Unless of course one of you is staying behind in the room.

I'm cheap so I would never spend $200 more for a room upstairs.

I go with the less expensive room. $200 for convenience is not worth it to me.

If you are going to use a crib, I'd get the King room bc there will likely be more room around the bed to place it. It's shocking how much space those things take up!
