Does anyone know if they cover the charge of your breast pump?

Re: Empire Nyshipp breast pump
Yes they do. I have NYSHIP. Byram was the easiest to use. They have the Medela and Ameda. I called them up and they emailed me the form to fill out. I faxed it back. They said I would need a prescription from my OB and that they wouldn't send it until the baby was born, and that if I deliver early to call and they will send it right out. I got my prescription from my OB and I didn't even have enough time to fax it to them because my breast pump was at my door a week later which was a month and half before my due date. There was no co-pay either. I did this 4 months ago, but I have had co-workers that have had the same experience recently! HTH!!

Re: Empire Nyshipp breast pump
Do they cover breast pump storage bags too? I already have a Medea from 5 years ago and wondering if I can just get updated parts/ bags or ahold just get a new pump.

Medela PSI I believe. It was the same exact one they had in the store just without the the "let down" button. It came in a case instead of the bag. I was using the medela symphony that I rented from the hospital and I didn't think there was that big of a difference between the highest setting on the two.

Just curious, is the breast pump to rent or for you to own?

My LO is 3 weeks -- when I called at the beginning of July they no longer were keeping the Medela in stock. The other two places I called (Edgepark and one other I can't remember) weren't either.
