If you have a chin/shoulder bob what hair products do you love?

It's time. I've had the same hair forever, no layers, no bangs, longish.

I want a major change, thinking a bob with a side swept bag, something btn my chin/shoulders. But have no expience maintaining an actual 'style'

Really all I have ever used it same tamer for my fly-a-ways. So I need major help/advice to maintain the style once I get it.

When I get a cut, this is usually my go-to style.

I'm not a product person at all and really the only thing I put in my hair besides shampoo and conditioner is argan oil each day before blow drying.

I always get long layers though. (Think Jennifer Aniston style bobs).

P.S. I've never been brave enough to do bangs. I'm afraid I will regret them immediately.

If you don't need much now you might not with that cut either. Are you going to wear it straight? Do you need a smoothing crème. If you don't mind silicone I recommend Redken Glass although there may be newer ones. I use a lot of leave in or spray on conditioners but I always have.

When I did - we are talking over 10 years ago - I used texturizing balm.

It was kinda beachy looking.

I can't pull off short hair; my hair now is pretty long but if you use some texturizing balm you can create a nice look.

I went "bangs" 4 years ago and never looked back! I found that the one major thing I had to purchase w/the bangs that I'd never used in my life was a big round brush.

Other than that, I don't use anything different in my hair now than I used when it was long/all one length.

I use aveda phomollient before going straight with a blow dry and elnet spray or aveda be curly if I'm not drying

I use Loreal Dry Oil, Oribe Royal Blow Out spray, Bedhead After Party to smooth. I don't flat iron it but I do like to blow the bangs, let the rest air dry, then curl some of the piece to give it waves.

The blowout spray is $ but worth it. It goes a long way.
