Bleeding after BC and on Estrace
So AF ended on Saturday and here it is again 6 days later. Awesome right? Started BC pills on CD 2 took those for 5 days, I took my 4th Estrace pill today, and BW/SONO tomorrow and hopefully starting stims for IVF #1. Is this breakthrough bleeding or another AF? How long will it last? Its not like a normal AF. (TMI) Its a lot thicker and clots. Thanks
Excited to be starting stims soon but nervous about this whole process. Not to mention worried about going back to teaching while doing a retrieval and transfer.....uhh IF I hate you.

If you read my post you'll see I have the same exact issue, I guess if we both have this it's "normal". I'll be there tomorrow too

I had 2 active pills left when I stopped BCP. I had two days of a full period, and I'm still spotting... very slightly.
When they measured my lining today -- they asked if I was still having a period, I said no -- but there was a lot of fluid in my lining.
I have several small follices on my left and right. I do injections for 3 days and go back Monday for another check.
My estrogen must be right where it should be, because they didn't say otherwise.

Nope. I took my last BC pill on Monday. I only took 5 BC pills to align to my REs schedule. Then on Tuesday I started Estrace.

Ha as normal as taking all these meds could be I guess...ha. Let's hope this is the last blood we see for 9 months! I have an 8:15 appointment. Uhhh, how am I gonna get up that early? Its been nice being able to make 9 am apps. With going back to work I'll be back to my normal 6:15 monitoring....boo.

Hmmmm interesting. I wonder what my linings gonna look like since I'm still bleeding. We shall see. Good luck with the injects.

So it's normal to have a withdrawal bleed after you stop taking BCPs. However, only taking them for 5 days is really short so it might be a bit wonky. Your lining really won't have built up enough to have a heavy withdrawal bleed.

Thanks ladies. Went in today and they said it was normal. It has calmed down today and seems like its ending. Starting injects today...

Thanks. My friend is over watching the JETS/GIANTS game and I don't think shes leaving for another hour or 2 so I have some time....ahh. I know what to expect from the Gonal but the Menopur I have no idea...ahh. Hopefully DH mixes it right.
