PLEASE HELP- Winter Party venue

I am at wits end. I know it's early but I like to book DS's birthday in advance since Fall tends to be busy at work.

Party is on Sunday December 8th 3-6pm, I've already hired entertainment (Sesame puppet show and dancing)...now just need a venue. The challenge is that it's 20 children and likely 40 adults...since it's December we cannot accommodate all those people at our house since we'll have to be indoors.

Please help, any suggestions welcome.

I've tried our local community room but they require that we end all festivities by 4pm, the Yes We Can (Town of North Hempstead) Community Center can accomodate at a great rate but the area isn't the best. Location must be in Nassau. A pizza parlor with a private room would be a dream...wish I knew of one!

Thanks!

Cascarinos in Farmingdale now has a private room. It's really nice and you could do the pizza parlor thing.

I had my rehearsal dinner at a pizza place that had a private room in east Williston. If you are interested I can look up the name. I don't remember off hand.

La Piazza in Merrick has a party room. Uncle Joe's has a huge party space (it's in Suffolk across from the Deer Park outlets), La Strada in Merrick, Peppercorns in Hicksville, HR Singletons... not all pizza places, but they do have private rooms to hold that many ppl.

Ha, DS is born on Christmas as well, I'll push it up to avoid the height of the season but I'm not into the half birthday thing.

Definitely not locked in, I can move entertainment to Saturday if there's a good suggestion that can accommodate us.

Thanks!
