I have the boppy and brest friend. I like the boppy more because I feel like it has multiple uses.

I have only used the Boppy and I loved it! I bought a new one for this and can't wait to use it!
It's comfortable especially after a csection.

I used the breast friend with my ds- it is firmer and I found it easier to use than the boppy. The boppy is cool for some other things- you can use it as part of baby exercises and different things but it was like too mushy for me to breastfeed on

For nursing every LC has told me not to use a pillow (I never did for either DD) - they say your stomach serves as nature's boppy!!!

My Breast Friend is great!!
After a while I stopped using it because I found nursing on my side was easier plus as time goes on you won't need a pillow

my breast friend...only bad part about it is changing the stupid cover but now they sell cotton ones thank god! I had boppy and would have to put a pillow under it to reach my boob- i have a long torso.

This. My Breast Friend is the only things I used to BF...we had a boppy, but I used it for other things. The Breast Friend also has a little back support since you connect it around you waist.

I ordered that free nursing pillow and its pretty awful. Really small, like a travel neck pillow! LOL I will be getting the boppy.

Re: BTDT - what's the best nursing pillow and why?
Breast friend saved my wrists while breastfeeding. I developed mommy's thumb/tendonitis from supporting my DS in the cross cradle hold using the boppy (to squishy) I was able to nurse DS practically hands free using the breast friend hehe. I did like the boppy for other things though and in a pinch used it for BFing as well, just not my goto for the long haul.

Re: BTDT - what's the best nursing pillow and why?
We have used the leachco pillow with all four of our kids. I've used it for nursing, but what I really love about it is that it has a strap to hold your d&c safe when using it to lay them in. Obviously, I don't leave DS laying alone in it, but when I'm sitting in the couch and he's laying in it, I like that it provides a little more safety.
The strap folds up and has a pocket that it gets tucked into.

Re: BTDT - what's the best nursing pillow and why?
Tell me your secret..It would have been so much easier to nurse without needing some sort of pillow. I could never nurse out of the house because i could never get DS latched on without the proper pillow/positioning..even as a 1 year old

Re: BTDT - what's the best nursing pillow and why?
I had a Boppy for DD1 and liked it. It was great after a csection. But I borrowed a BreastFriend after DD2 and thought it was great. Much more back support and support for the baby, esp as a newborn.
