New Macy's Southshore?
Has anyone been there yet? My coworker went last night and said it was a really nice shoe dept. She also said it seems like some new, non-trashy stores seems to be "coming soon" - Maybe they're trying to resurrect that mall. I hope so, b/c I HATE driving all the way to Smithhaven or WW.
I'm crossing my fingers that Loft & Gap come back, and I wouldn't cry if a Coach store showed up
She said that they're renovating VS and making 2x the size of the old one, and they're also adding a freestanding Sephora (instead of just the one in JCpenney)
I may have to take a ride there next Tuesday night when my DH is in AC w/his dad!

That's the closest mall to me and I hate it!!!!!!!! Really hoping they class it up :)

I actually cried when LOFT closed 2 years ago. I used to go there on my break all the time!

I was there this afternoon. It is nice...bright and clean. The staff was a little annoying but i guess they are still training and have a lot more staff then customers right now. They are having their official grand opening next Wednesday. As for the mall they are renovating Lord & Taylor and adding new stores and restaurants to the mall. There was ads for Sephora, Michael Kors, Soma, Ulta, White House Black Market. Seems like they are really trying to turn the place around.
Eta there is a Starbucks in Macy's.
