Airfare to Aruba (Also when would you buy?)
I can get a decent fare for April if I fly 2 different airlines, would you do it?
ETA: We are going in April Sunday - Friday

Airfare prices suck for April. We can do 1 leg on US Air with a brief layover in Philly, total flight time 6 hours, and then direct home on United. Both flights out of EWR. Doing this would save me over $400.
ETA is is a "hacker fare" from Kayak

We go to Aruba every year... we prefer direct flights and we prefer Jet Blue.

If it's a substantial savings - yes, I would. They are reputable airlines. Also - how long is a "brief" layover? It makes me laugh that you can fly from Newark to Philly since it's only an hour and a half drive!
With all of these consolidations and airlines cancelling flights - airfare is $$$$$$$$$.

That's a good length - anything under an hour makes me nervous since it takes so long for people to deplane (although from Newark to Philly it will probably be a small plane and quick turnaround).
