6 month meals

DS will be 6 months next week. What is your 6 month old's "meal" schedule??

Right now he has fruit in the morning and a veggie at night. I am thinking its time to add "lunch".

Mine still don't do 3 meals everyday. When I added a meal Id just cut back the bottle with it. To add lunch I cut the bottle from 6 to 3 oz and give food too. They still get some bottle with each meal.

here's what her schedule was like at 6 months.

620am - wake up time. nurse for 15-20mins
9am- 3 tablespoons of oatmeal 1 cube of fruit
1030am- 6.5oz of bm
12pm-1 cube of veggie 1 cube of fruit
1:30pm -6.5oz of bm
4:30pm -6.5oz of bm
7pm - 3 tablespoons of oatmeal 1 cube of fruit
8pm- bath time
815- story time, bed time, nurse for 15-20mins

times vary between the hours of 1030am-430pm since she did not have a set time to nap.

6 month meals

Here was DD schedule at 6m.
5:30 6.5 oz
7:30 3 cubes of fruit (sometimes 1tbs oatmeal mixed in)
8:30 6.5 oz
11:30 6.5oz
2:30 6.5 oz
5:00 3 cubes of vegetables
6:15 6.5 oz

Right around 6 1/2 months I added a lunch meal around 12:30. Now at 7 months she has four 8oz bottles every 4 hrs with 3 meals (4 cubes of fruit or vegetable). DD is a big eater though!

dd is 6 months and here is what she gets...after reading this i think i may have to give her more!

6:30 - nurse
10:30 - 7oz bottle
12:30 fruit or veggie
3:00 7oz bottle
5:30 oatmeal (or cereal or barley)
7:00/7:30 nurse and bedtime

edit - how much food is a cube? i give dd either half a jar or a full jar depending how hungry she seems

DD will be 7 months next week. But right now sometimes she gets solid food 3 times and sometimes she doesn't. I think we need to structure her meal schedule a bit more.

But about 45 mins after her morning bottle she will have half a container of fruit that I mix with a tbs of oatmeal and a half of a container of yogurt.

For lunch..or sometime a late lunch she will have a full pouch of a fruit and veggie or half depending on how hungry she is.

And for dinner about an hour before her bed time bottle she will have a can of veggies or half and I will mix it with more oatmeal.

Still don't have this food thing down to a science. lol

DD2 is 6 months. Her food schedule is:
7am: cereal with a half of a jar of fruit
10am: bottle
1pm: a jar of vegetables/bottle
4pm: bottle
6:30ish: a jar of a stage 2 dinner
7:30pm: a couple ounces of a bottle before bed
