Period after operative hysteroscopy

Anyone that has had a fibroid or polyp removed during an operative hysteroscopy, when does your next period come? Is it on time? Usually the surgery is done before ovulation, so do you get your period two to three weeks later as usual?

Re: Period after operative hysteroscopy

I had a hysteroscopy and it did not interfere why my regular cycle - I got AF as I normally would.

Re: Period after operative hysteroscopy

I got it a few days late but it was lighter and (TMI) more of "red flow" and less clotting than it had been. It was also a bit lighter.

I also had a D&C with my polypectomy/hysteroscopy though so it could have been from that as well.

Thanks for the responses. . I wasn't sure if period would be delayed, come early or would even show up.
