Bleeding after internal
I had an internal exam today. When I got home, I had some brown and red blood on my liner.
Anyone have experience with this? I was told it is normal but what is it?

I have not had that happen but who told you it was normal?
If the office said it was OK then I would say it is. Otherwise, maybe call them and ask?

yes normal- my doctor said I'd possibly have some spotting after the internal. As long as it isnt like AF type blood, she said it was ok

YES! I bled a lot during my internal a couple weeks ago and the dr. explained it. Everything down there is very swollen and inflamed during pregnancy and bleeds VERY easily. She told me I would probably bleed or spot for 1-2 days and that was totally normal and fine. I had to wear a liner for about 24 hours and then it stopped.

I had that with my first. Went to my OB on Monday then Tuesday was in labor DD was born early Wednesday morning.

Maybe it's the start of something. I started spotting brown blood today, sorry for the TMI. OB said it's def the start of something even though i'm still only fingertip dilated Said it could be tonight or nothing until Friday But in any case, started with no warning so maybe the internal is just a coincidence. I had an internal today also and it did not increase the bleeding.

Yup.. I was also told I'd bleed more because my OB found polyps on my cervix. I left so upset because who wants to see that when they're pregnant?!! .. It only lasted like a day or two though.
