feels like everyone around me is pg...why not me
not sure what to do anymore..tried the IUI's twice, did not like how it made me feel. Planning to try acupuncture...still haven't made that call because each month I think- this month will be different...but it hasn't been.
just cranky today...I think AF is on her ugly way so that's why i'm feeling so stinky..

I'm right there with you....everyone is pregnant and easily. I hate when people say I wasn't even trying or it happened the first month. My friend just confided in me that it took her 9 months to get preg and that was a long time.....ummm right try 2 years and still not pregnant. I had 6 failed IUIs and now on to IVF. If this IVF doesn't work I'm gonna try acupuncture. Good luck.

I know EXACTLY how you feel- this past week FIVE people I know who weren't even really trying to get pregnant told me about their little bundle. I feel like such a sh!t because I'm really envious that its so easy for some people.
IF really SUCKS!

I know exactly how you are feeling. I was actually supposed to go to a very good friends place this weekend with DH but after this last MC I just can't bare to be around her... she's pregnant with her first (weren't even trying yet, she really ideally wanted to wait another few months, ugh) and is about 16 weeks along. I love them, I'm super happy for them, but you cannot tell me that they deserve this more than DH and I do...blah!
ETA: needless to say I will NOT be going this weekend... I just can't do it. And that's the thing that makes this even worse, I know she'll totally understand.

I put off acupuncture at first for that same reason ... but honestly, it's good for you overall wellbeing and great for pregnancy, especially the 1st tri. Acupuncture can even help with morning sickness. No day like today! It's Monday, the start of a new week. Make the call

I am having two pregos at my wedding and three in labor at the time of my wedding LOL I know exactly how you feel!! I felt like this when I went to babies r us to shope for a registry.. all of these big beautiful bellies walking around and I kept smiling at them saying congrats. I think I will just faint if I get a BFP that actually sticks. I wouldn't know what to do with myself lol!

I also want to add that there is a lot of proof that acu really works- it brings healthy blood flow to the uterus and helps stimulate hormones. My acu does not believe in chinese herbs or anything but has complete faith in his work. Since I have seen him, I have gotten two BFP's (didn't stick though), my hormones actually regulated- my estrogen was always super high- and my amh has gone up! Also, my periods are very different than they have ever been. Lots of bright red blood which means new, oxygenated, when I always had heavy dark clots and pain. My last period was completely painless.. the first time in my life I have experienced this.

It took me months to make the call and we played phone tag for weeks. I find it very difficult to commit until I am 100% ready and it took another chemical to make the move. I am so glad I did!

thank you girls for all of your comments and support...this is very frustrating and as much as we put a smile on for everyone else, we are hurting inside.
I just love when people at work are like- hey how old is your son, time to start working on #2- little do they know we've been trying for #2 for 4 years and no luck.
I pray for all of us and that we all get some happy news of our own soon

Family can sometimes be our worst enemies when dealing with IF. We've also been married for a little of 2 years now and every month my mother asks me "So am I going to be a granda yet?".
My grandma is worse- she gives me the guilt trip saying "she doesn't have much time left" and would like to be a GGrandma. It's like a knife straight in the heart. It's like they think we're not trying  . I almost want to be like "Um if you have $20,000 to give me, I'll gladly make you a grandma/grandpa/ggrandma because that seems to be the only way it'll happen"!I'm just about to delete Facebook as well if I see one more pregnancy announcement.
Can't ya tell I've been having a bad few weeks lol  .

This is absolutely what I would say to my mom if she gave me such a hard time. Thankfully, she's fully aware of my situation and since DH just started a new job (yesterday) and can't come with me to our first RE appointment, my mom is actually the one going with me.
My gma had a hard time getting preggo w/ her first child (unknown issues as she doesn't discuss), but in a time when you got married and got pregnant, it took her 4 years after her wedding before she got pregnant.... then had 4 children in 6 years.

Totally get what you're all thinking, I feel the same way. Every corner I turn, someone new is pregnant, there's an announcement, a birth, etc. It is wonderful for them, dont' get me wrong, I am extremely happy for them but I can't help that it stings me every time. Because I just so badly want it to be us. I'm trying to not let it get to me as much lately, but again, easier said than done.

Just had my failed 2nd IUI too, same day I found out my SIL is preggers . Im happy for them but it's terrible I don't want to even see (bil & sil) them. Who are you going to for acupuncture?

Everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant now that I'm on this IVF journey. am genuinely happy for them but its difficult. I'm beginning acupuncture to tomorrow with Andy Kaplan and I'm so excited to finally be doing this!
