How come I can drive to NJ for a late....
party on a Sunday (5pm) for your toddler but you make it a big deal when I invite you to an early afternoon party on a Sunday on LI???? I just don't get it!!!!

Didn't you know Long Island is a seperate country that only Long Islanders can travel back and forth too :) Yes it is frustrating the way people think about coming to Long Island

So I sent out a reminder about my sons birthday and I sent this friend the reminder... She told me that it is too late (2pm) for her to take the baby to LI... I don't understand why she just doesn't leave her with her parents. They watch her F/T during the week.. Her son has to lose out on a good day because of what?
Meanwhile I have found out that they traveled all over NJ all summer. With and without the baby!!!

I HATE people like that and I have several friends and family like that. Drives me CRAZY!!

I live in CT about 1 hr 20 mins from LI on a good day and people make it seem like I live in Cali. I can always come to LI for everything, by myself with 2 kids a lot of times but to come to me is like a space shuttle launch. The stars must align, the wind blowing the correct way, lol. I lived on LI for my whole life, 28 years, then when I moved it was like what? And now when I come back, off LI for 6 yrs now, it's amazing what a bubble it can be. My dh always says that lol

I had someone who is not married, and has no kids, in her 20's, that lives in manhattan on a Saturday at 3pm tell me she can't come because "she lives in the city".....
Some people are just plain ridiculous!!
