Date of Shower
How far in advance of your due date did you have your shower? Do you think November 2 would be pushing it for a December 10 due date?

I think mine was at 32wks, or around there...... I was nervous about having it later because I had preterm labor issues earlier in the pregnancy and was convinced I would not make it too far into the 3rd trimester. Well ... my due date is in 10 days and I'm still here. Pregnant.  In hindsight maybe I would have made it a little further along, but it was nice having all the things I need so far ahead of time and left plenty of time to do any exchanges, set up the nursery, etc. I was also not too uncomfortable yet which was nice.

I had my shower when I was 32 wks. I didnt know how I would feel later and plus living OOS.

I had my shower at 34w. I was ok. I had some foot swelling but that was it.

My shower was at 34w.
I wouldn't want it any later then this because it gave us a chance to organize things, to wash stuff while still feeling "ok", and it gave us a few "free" weekends before the babies arrival.

I remember having my shower with my oldest at 36 weeks and 5 days. I was very uncomfortable and irritable. If I had to do it again I wouldn't go pass 34 weeks.

I had mine at 32 weeks and it was perfect- I felt great and it gave me time to put everything together and set-up

I will be about 35 weeks at my shower... I was a little concerned about it being close but just based on the availability of weekends (I have a few other family obligations the two weeks before), the date we picked is going to have to be the one. my bestie had her shower at 35 weeks and went into labor at 38 weeks and never said anything about wishing her shower had been earlier.

I had my shower at 35 weeks... I wanted it a little earlier than that (33 weeks) but it was the only week that worked for our families so it all worked out

I think mine is the day before Im 33 weeks. It's a surprise though
If it is I'm happy it's a little on the earlier side
