Keratin Treatment
I had a Keratin Treatment in July and now its August and its basically gone. I used the shampoo and conditioner the salon had. I had one once before and rememebr it didn't last long either. But do i call and complain or is it my hair just doesn't take it, is that possible.

Sounds about right, unfortunately!
Keratin treatments- all they do is take frizz out and can last up to 6wks (which is BS), with right products and not washing daily.
I have done them as well, nothing compares to Hair IB in flushing. The treatment is Brazilian and will straighten and last.
They take 3hrs to get it done and it last up to 6 months.
Im going back next week. Im done with the local places.

Thanks, i wish i could have gotten at least another month out of it. They advertise it lasts for 5 months.

I have been getting them done for years and it never last more than 4 weeks (looking good) and then a few weeks where it is still just ok.

This! My stylist does it and it lasts over 6 months. My hair is very thick, wavy and frizzy and it completely transforms it. Totally worth it.

This is disheartening. I also thought it was supposed to last 5-6 months. I have a coupon at my salon that I will be using this month. If it doesn't last too long, it's going to get expensive to maintain if it needs to be done every couple of months, on top of highlights, etc. I guess I'll get it done and see how long it lasts.

Oooh, good question. I know there are some different types. For those of you that do it and it lasts longer, any idea what's used?

Keratin Treatment
The keratin usually lasts 4 months on me and I have semi thin hair. I can push it to 6 months if I use the hot iron on my roots
