Scuffed Patent Pumps?
I just bought myself a brand new pair of nude patent leather pumps from Aldo. Brand spanky new! I've been wearing them for literally 2.5 hours and I already have a scuff mark!  I'm so annoyed!!!
What can I do to fix it without taking it to a shoe place? Is there any way to prevent this from happening again... other than tiptoeing around carefully?

A pencil eraser, the old fashioned pink kind will take off the scuff mark without scratching.
Buff with a soft cloth.

I wish I had known about this. I was in love with a pair of nude patent pumps last year but the only pair in my size had a scuff mark! I wasn't able to find the shoe anywhere :(
