Summer + Rain = Shoes??
Jeez, I never know what to put on my feet when its hot AND raining. I have on closed toe heels today in nude patent and my feet are sweating like two little b*tches!
What do you wear when it rains in the summer? Closed? Do you just let your feet get wet?
These are the things that I think about all day.

 I literally sat on the floor of my bedroom this morning for a solid 8 minutes wondering the very same thing!!! I wound up with grey flats which are now soaked.

The only reason I even have these patent heels is b/c someone tossed them in the bin near the registers at Marshalls and they happened to be size 7!

I wear whatever goes with my planned outfit that day. If it's open toe, it's open toe.
I can't work my outfits around rain! 
I am in a strappy black high heeled sandal today.
ETA- I dont' work in the city most days though- so I am in my car and then right into my office.
I am sure if I had to walk all over NYC I might change my tune!

I short calf height rubber boots that I wear and change into something else at work.
I hate walking around in wet shoes, then sitting in my office with cold wet feet.

Normally I'd do the same... or even sneakers, but I have a wake to attend after work. So I wanted something that I could commute in and wear right there. But these are SO soaked now, I think I might just buy another pair of flats or pumps to wear. They are THAT wet.

Was thinking about posting the same question, this morning! I was planning on wearing cream pumps (closed toe) with my tan pants - because of the rain. But I didnt like them with the pants when I put them on, so went with nude open toe pumps and just thought, oh well, guess my feet will get wet - which they did. If I was going to be out of the office today, going to other locations during the day, which happens often, I probably would have gone with the closed toes shoes, even though I didn't like the way they looked with the pants. I can deal with one trek from car to office in the rain with the open toes, but multiple treks would have made me wear more "sensible" shoes in the rain

I also feel, for some reason, like patent leather is "waterproof" but I'm not sure why! I always seem to turn to patent leather when it rains.
I should probably invest in rain boots!

I just let my feet get wet. I communte in either flip flops or sneakers depeding on what I am wearing and then change but then I wear my heels out for lunch etc.

I will usually throw on a pair of sneakers until I get into the office. If it's not raining hard, I might wear closed toe flats. But sneakers are usually it for me. I CANNOT wear flip flops or any open toe shoe in in the rain. I have a very strange thing with my feet getting wet by rain water/dirty water/wet grass...don't ask, just drives me crazy. Ugh, not to mention all the puddles and the subway  . And Lord knows I can't wear my rubber rain boots in the summer unless I want to have a heat stroke

I invested in a pair of rain boots which I always forget to wear. So...to answer your question, I'm wearing sandals and my feet got wet.

I commute to the city - and never in my heels - so when it's hot I just wear flats or my sperrys. Normally i'd wear my hunters - but its way too hot ......
I won't wear sandals or flip flops to walk through the city on the filthy streets

This might sound weird (in fact, I'm sure it sounds weird) but I had a pair of rain boots but wearing them made me feel claustrophobic! I wore them once and sold them on ebay.

In the summer I wear flip flops in the rain and change when I get to my office. I dont mind wet feet, better than wet shoes all day or even worse, ruined shoes
