Just waiting
With Friday being my due date I feel like me and DH are just waiting for any signs of labor. Even our family and friends feel like they are going crazy waiting for the call from us. Are any of you ladies that are close to the end going crazy with the excitement of just waiting? I'm still working and driving into the city which a ton of people think is crazy but I feel fine and don't want to just sit around. It would be nice if baby just came!

I have trouble feeling totally ready because I am still waiting on my new bassinet to arrive. The family air loom we had collapsed a few weeks ago while MIL was dressing it!  . Once I have the bassinet and it is in place, I think I will be ok. (Whenever that will be I don't know). My last day of work is Tuesday
On a personal note, what's going on with your house? Are they done????

Yes you will feel better once you have the bassinet ready. We are NOT in the house yet but at this point I can't get stressed about it. We will be in the house in 2 weeks so not horrible but not what I expected.

We are all ready to go and the suspense of not knowing when our LO will decide to enter this world is killing me! My mother is arriving tomorrow and she really wanted to be here for the birth so I told our LO she can come anytime after that

I'm in the same boat as you, although I'll be happy for LO to arrive AFTER the platelet infusion I'm having done tomorrow! lol Just want to make sure my platelets are good enough so baby's are too and he or she won't need an infusion after birth! It's kind of surreal we could be meeting our child this week but if not DEFinitely in the next 2 weeks, I'm not sure it's sunk in yet, but it's exciting that we will finally know if we have a son or daughter!!!
at least our camcorder & camera is charged, our bag is 99% packed, so we're just waiting! In laws told me tonight to call no matter what time of night it is when we head to the hospital! lol It's pretty fun that everyone is so excited for us!

Just waiting here too. 38 weeks 3 days. Sadly my hospital bag isn't packed but I have started putting things together.
I was induced with DS at 36w5d so I never made it this far before and it is such a different experience. I keep waiting and wondering. I'm anxious for it to happen soon bc my BP is not great and I really want a VBAC so the longer I go the higher my chances they decide to just do a c-section.
The waiting and wondering and reading into what I feel is so hard sometimes. I want to know, lol!

yup! 11 days to go- still working also because no sense in sitting home really! I can't wait to see if its a girl or boy though- now the suspense is starting to kill me lol
eta- I am also getting sick of people at work being like oh youre still here? and today came in late and they all thought I was in labor. annoying!

39 weeks today and I guess Baby is comfortable. I've been 2cm and 50% for the last few weeks. Just waiting and waiting now. And trying to keep my house as clean as possible so when my mother in law and parents arrive, it's not an embarrassing mess like last time. Still working and living a normal life. But getting anxious too. And even though this is #2, I'm still just as nervous about how labor and delivery will go.

With 25 days to go I'm already anxiously waiting for his arrival. I can't even think how I'm going to be when Sept. comes if  hasn't arrived by then.  My hospital bag is sitting by the door just waiting.
I keep trying to find little projects to keep me busy (making clothing closet dividers, and scrapbook wall art) but still. All of his clothing, bedding, and towels that he'll be using right away are washed.
In the back of my mind I keep telling myself, "Just enjoy sitting in silence by yourself. It'll never be the same in a few weeks/days".
