Who uses Tommee Tippee bottles

With this baby, I was thinking of changing from Dr. Brown's to Tommee Tippee, basically because I'm looking to simplify my life. If these bottles are easier to clean, I will switch.

So my questions are:
How do you like them?
Did you have to switch to a different bottle due to gas/fussiness?
Are there less parts to clean than with Dr. Browns (bottle, nipple, ring, straw & stopper)?
Anything else I should know about them?

I use them! WAY less parts than any other bottle out there. They make a special nipple for gassiness if you need, but we never had any problems. Which really says something since DD was a super fussy nugget. Nipples are a little pricey once you have to buy the level 2 and level 3, but overall we were/are very happy with them.

I use them for all the reasons above.
Also, I found that my kids like the variable flow nipples as opposed to stage 1 etc.

We were happy with them. Only drawbacks were that they were plastic (I originally wanted to use glass bottles) , and in order to use the dr. browns bottle warmer, we had to take out the insert and I couldn't pump into them. But I think there was an attachment. Otherwise, they were fantastic.

I used them at first.
But DD was so gassy and colic the ped recommended switching to Playtex drop ins so we can push out the excess air.
They were great and we stuck with them for the long haul.

We used Medela bottles at first with DS but they caused so much gas we made the switch to Tommee Tippee and that was that. No issues at all. Not many parts. And I like they have a wide opening which makes them easier to clean. The only drawback for us is their shape is not like a traditional bottle so it's a little annoying if you have to transport them. Just make sure you gave a bag that will fit them, that's all.

We plan to use them again when this baby arrives as well.

I started with them for DS but switched back to Dr. Browns. He was sucking in too much air with them and I just found them overall awkward

I used them bc they were more similar to bfing for DD. She couldn't get the hang of the avents and these seemed much softer for her to latch on to. They sell a bottle brush which worked well if I needed to hand wash but I typically ran them through the dishwasher along with the brush every so often. DD didn't have bottles often but she was easily able to hold these herself by the time she was a few months old.

We got a free sample from Target and I was SUPER excited about trying it. DS has BAD reflux. We were using the Playtex Drop Ins and he would still spit up every now and then. Well we tried the Tommee Tippee and he threw up the WHOLE bottle on DH.

I then tried the Avent. We were flying through the drop ins and it was just getting to be an added expense. My friend uses the Avent and she told me that they were NICU recommended (her son was there for 75 days). DS is doing SO well on them (knock on wood) and I am SO happy about this!

I used them with my second dd and I love them. They are so easy to clean and my dd took to them right away. We never had a leak. They are also easy for baby to hold.

My first dd used playtex drop ins and those were great too but you have to buy the drop ins so I tried tomee tippee the 2nd time.

So much easier than Dr. Browns. When I worked in daycare I would secretly cringe when parents used them. They are such a PIA to clean.They just took twice as long as other bottles. I also hated avent I've never seen bottles leak as much as those bottles.

We use them and love them. Be sure to get the bigger size Tommy Tippee - the 8 or 9oz size. There are 4 parts to clean…bottle, nipple, white ring thingy, and the cap (optional). If you get the smaller bottles (5oz size) there are a few more parts to clean. I think the smaller bottles are designed more for newborns and they won't swallow as much air. But once they get older and start sucking harder the nipple inverts lol. Again I only saw this happen on the smaller size and it was not a big deal to us.

DD did not have gas or any issues. She was mostly bf but gets 1-2 bottles a week now. I do notice her taking in some air toward the end of the bottle but it does not bother her.

We use them because they are only bottle my breast fed baby will take. She refused Avent, Dr. Browns and BornFree after multiple attempts. You need to make sure the little valve is clean but they are a cinch to clean.

My older two took Avent no problems. If you have leaks with them, it's because you over tightened the top.
