I read the other post about vaccines and shedding and it made me think about vaccines/illness. If a person is already vaccinated, (for arguments sake it has been a year post vaccine) and they are then exposed to an illness, once they take a shower would the illness still be "on" them?

Depends on the virus. Most are able to be wiped out with soap, water, or alcohol.
The real problem is that after you breathe in the virus (most common transmission), it replicates in your body.
In people with vaccines, their body has t cells with immune receptors for the virus. The body identifies the virus and wipes it out. With the unexposed or unvaccinated, the virus replicates in their body like crazy and is shed before they start having symptoms. That's why non immunized people are so dangerous and spread disease.
There's a lot of anti vaccine propaganda. Try basic science and bio textbooks for sources.

Thank you for confirming exactly what I thought.
