A happy story :-)
Today was DS's karate picnic, and a Daddy weekend.
I'm friends w the karate teachers wife.
Our agreement is we can go to DS events if it's on the others day but aside from school stuff (graduation, play) we never have done this.
My exhusband, his wife and her son brought my son to the picnic.
It was the first time we all "hung out" together. I have to say, we all played very nice together.
It was so nice! I'm so glad it went well.
{that's all, no vent}

It's great that your son could see you together, being friendly with each other and new SO's - that's a great gift for your son!
