Foyer chandelier - where to buy one?
We need a chandelier for our entryway/foyer that will hang from 20' ceilings. We think we need about 3.5' min in diameter and would like a craftsman/mission style.
We've looked at Lowe's and Home Depot but they don't have anything big enough, which really surprised me. We've researched Overstock, but they seem $$$.
Any suggestions for a local place to go to? TIA.

I know you said local stores but have you looked at Lampsplus or lighting direct? They have sales and coupons floating around. Also, I pass by this AC electrical supply store everyday on rte347 in nesconset-they seem to have lots of chandeliers on display. Maybe they can tell you if they have a large one on display.

I have this chandelier from overstock and love it! It goes with many styles: rustic, cottage, traditional, etc.

Republic Lighting on Merrick Rd. in Bellmore has a big selection. We also looked at Nu Merritt on Sunrise Highway in Freeport, and at a big lighting store on Glen Cove Rd. in Carle Place (can't recall the name).
