Got my fertilization report...
8 were retrieved. Out of the 8, 5 were mature. Out of the 5 mature, only 3 fertilized. Trust me, I am so thankful 3 made it; I was just hoping for more. Now there is nothing to freeze and this is our only hope  this is all OOP and we can't afford to do this again 
Now, how many to put back  if the quality is not great I would put back all 3. Still trying to convince dh to put back 3 even if they are all great quality.

Good luck, if it was my choice and with my history I would use all 3 especially if it was all oop
Are the chances larger than having so many during Iui?

I feel your pain. We had poor fertilization both cycles I did, even with ICSI. (2 fertilized /5 mature) (3 fertilized /10 mature). We put back all 3 the second cycle and one took!
3 is a good number and I'm sure you'll have 1 or 2 high quality embryos to put back!
I hope to get 3 fertilized again this cycle! How many to put back is a big decision. I'm sure you and DH will figure out what's right for you both.

I have heard much worse from some ladies, having three that made it is great! If it were me, I would transfer all three to up the chances. I would see what the Dr recommends also! Good luck hun and try and relax! These babies will stick and you will have triplets!!  (I will happily babysit for you  )

I had 20 retrieved, 17 mature, and only 4 fertilized. I was told not to make any decisions until the day of the transfer and that it all depended on how they did.

It only takes one!
I would wait to make the decision until I knew the quality that I was dealing with. If they were good quality, I would only put back 2. My doctor told me, he would not put back 3 due to my age...

ITA - without knowing the quality its hard to give an opinion. i would only transfer 3 if the quality is subpar cause you really want quality over quantity. if it didnt work and you had one frosty could you afford an FET if you froze one? they are less expensive and could give you another chance. also many doctors dont give you the option of 3 high quality ones and you would have to seriously fight for it.

these are fertilized already so not like i have 5 follies and a iui hope i am making sense

Thank you everyone!!! I am going tomorrow at 11:15, and I think it's Dr Trivax again. He was really nice at the retrieval. Dh and I are going to wait for the RE to give us the grading report and see what he recommends. Definitely transferring 2 no matter what.

You are so lucky if you get Trivax both times. He's the main reason I'm still at that place. I was adamant about putting back only 2 until I spoke to him. He suggested the 3. I'm also going to hit 40 next month and my quality was good not great. What times your transfer?
